Bir Billing Hot water Spring Trek – Tattani (Tatwani)

Itinerary 2 Nights and 3 Days

Day 1:- Arrive Bir, overnight stay in Camp Oak View, Bir.
Arrive Bir and reach Camp Oak View. Hike around camp and to sunset point,
 
Dinner around Bonfire and overnight stay at Camp Oak View.
 
Day 2:- Drive to Tattani (Tatwani) hydro-project (22 km/1 hr)
Post breakfast drive to hydroproject at Tattani (Tatwani) which is 22 km/1 hr drive from Camp Oak view.
 
Hydroproject to Hot water spring (9 km / 3-4 hr, 8900 fts.) – Snow at some spots during trek from Jan till last week of Feb
 
Start trek with gaining some instant height along with hydroproject water pipe. Follow the pipe for 1 hour till the top of hill. You can relax for while before start trek towards water stream. Cross the stream over and start trekking towards hot water spring, Trek is almost 1 hour away. Oak, Rododendron, Devdara trees around. There is small shop for tea, which open in few months in year during Shivrati festival. You can see water vapors from far away to recognize the location of Hot water spring of valley.
 

Tatani is pilgrimage site of local inhabitants of Deyol and Uttrala village of Baijnath region, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Destination at Tatani is known for hot water spring. Tatani has few rooms for stay shepherds who traveled and stay for many days in nearby grazing area. There is a trek to Plachak vai Rasoi pass to reach Raj gundha village from Tatani.

 
Later start trekking towards hydro-project to reach Camp by the end of evening.
 
Drive from tatani hydroproject to Camp Oak View. (22 km/1 hr)
Reach Camp relax.
 
Dinner around Bonfire and overnight stay at Camp oak view
 
Day 3:- Paragliding and departure
Morning paragliding session of 15 to 20 min, land at Bir paragliding landing area. Walk to hotel for breakfast. Later leisure time to explore Bir Tibetan colony area, monastery and Departure.

Exclusions:

• Transportation.
• Travel insurance covering medical evacuation, hospitalization, baggage insurance and trip cancellation.
• Any meals other than specified in the program.
• Any en-route or personal expenses such as alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, tips & gratuities, laundry etc.
• Paragliding weight limit is 15-95 kg, if weight is between 95-115 kg the paragliding team charge INR 500/- extra and also decide it at the time of paragliding, depending upon fitness of person.
