Detailed Itinerary :-
Day 1:- Arrive Bir and Trekking.
Arrive Bir and hike around Camp and visit to sunset point.
Dinner around Bonfire and overnight stay at Camp Oak View.,
Day 2:- Camp Oak View to Thathi village to Raj gundha village. (easy to moderate trek, 16 km. / 6-7 hr)
Start trekking from Camp Oak View, trek passing through dense forest. Valley is surrounded by the dense forest of Oak, Rhododendron, and Devdara. We trek for 2 hrs to reach the village. Gundha is a group of three villages. All villages are still not connected with road. The village has electric supply, proper water channels for fields, farmers are modern. The village has well connectivity of mobile networks but not in the trail after this village.
The trail from the village is well defined and passing through dense forest. Trek from here is easy to moderate for a half hour and then uphill till the top of the mountain, from the top one can view Kangra valley down and Raj gundha village with a close view of Snow covered mountains on another side.
Spend some time at Top and start trekking for another hour to reach Raj gundha village.
Gundha villages are twin villages including Raj Gundha and Kukkur Gundha, 1 km away from each other. We stay in Kukkur gundha village and visit both as houses are old styled and full of Oak, Rhododendron, and Devdara trees. The village is home to farmers and shepherds. Later after 1 km, we reach Raj Gundha village, where we pitch our dome tents or stay in the guest house.

Day 3:- Raj Gundha to Billing (easy trek, 11 km. / 5-6 hr)
Post breakfast, we start our trek from Raj Gundha village. After Raj gundha village trek enters to Deodara and Oak forest. The trail starts gaining altitude till Channa ghat, which is the highest point of the trek at 2700 meters from sea level. From Channa ghat, we have the view of Thamsar peak and Billing on the other side. Trekking for more 2 -3 hrs you will reach Billing, which is the take-off point of Paragliding.

Thathi Village is a group of villages situated in the valley of Bir Billing. Villages named Chougan Thathi, Kryon Thathi and Kothar Thathi. Most of the inhabitants live in Chougan Thathi village. The village has a health center, primary school. Village have many houses with the two-storied structure of having houses with the lower floor for cattle’s and upper for own stay, most of the houses have one big room where all family member lives and having an open kitchen in middle.
The village has farms and doing organic farming here with advanced techniques, proper channels for water, step farming. All houses have 24 hrs electric supply, water supply, and network connectivity.
Raj Gundha and Kukkar Gundha villages are twin villages located 12 km trek away from Billing village and the nearest road head is 6 km at Badagran. Villagers here are considered semi-nomadic and living 8 months here in summers and 4 months in other houses in lower villages of Bir – Thathi, Bir, Sansal, Kotli, Keyori, Ghodnala, and Kandi. By trekking, this itinerary one can experience the life of local Pahari villagers. Villagers are mostly farmers and shepherds. Once have to carry jackets and warmers here traveling any time of year. The village surrounded by dense foreset of Devdara and Snow-covered peaks on the other side. Raj gundha village is the gateway to Bada-Bhangal village – most tribal part of Himachal – 3 days trek from here.
