Waterfall in Bir Billing mountains – Best Thing to do.
Waterfall in Bir is one of the best place to visit. Bir Billing has small streams in the valley which are the main source of freshwater in the valley.
1st Stream – two waterfalls in Bir stream, near Bir Village.
One stream is originated from the Billing area and flows through Bir Village then to Keyori village near the paragliding landing site and then to Bhattu village and the confluence with Binwa river near Baijnath.
Bir stream provides fresh drinking water to villages here.
Stream also provide trek route to Trekkers to Billing and further to Raj-gundha village. Trek start from Bir Ashram area and after trekking for 30 min you can visit 1st waterfall and 2nd waterfall is another 15 min hike to the same route. Water is more from Oct to March. Water is a cold and amazing place to refresh yourself. One can start trek from Camp Oak View and trail passing through Dhonadi village, Bari village to reach stream and waterfalL.
2nd Stream – Big waterfalls – Gunnaid village stream.
Another stream of Bir originated from Panjol dough village which is down to Channa pass. There is a huge waterfall in the stream.
One can reach till waterfall by visiting Gunned village, which is 2 km from Bir village and trek for 20 min from here. It’s slippery to reach the waterfall and no proper trail here at the end. One can be careful while visiting the waterfall. The traveler has to cross cold water to reach the full view of the waterfall. This river enters in Mandi region of Himachal to irrigate the lower region on the valley.
