photography points at Waterfall of Gunnaid located 4 km ride of car or bike and 20 min trek from Hotel Paul Manor at Chougan Chowk. One can trek till waterfall from chougan chowk. Waterfall is bit difficult sometime as last downhill is slippery and narrow trail. Waterfall is quite breathtaking and cold weather. One can enjoy bath there in waterfall and get stunning photography shots.

Billing is located at 2430 mts from sea level and 16 km drive away from Tibetan colony area. Way to reach there by taxi, cycle and motorbike. One can trek of 9 km /4-5 hr trek away from Bir. Billing is astonishing view of sunrise with best shots of mountains and flying of gliders. View at in the morning is clear as one side Dhauladhar range of Himalayas and Kangra valley down. Paragliding in morning during sunset is one of the best and refreshing escapade experiences.
Palpung Sherabling Monastery.
Stupa’s at Monastery counts 108 some small and some big with revolving bells. Flags along with stupa’s provide astonishing shots for photography. Monks all round praying, studing at monasteries and mail prayer hall has 2 storied Budha’s statue. Photography allowed in side the monasteries there at Bhattu. Place is located at 6 km from Bir. Way to reach by cyle and motorbike in pine, Oak forest.
Hanuman Garh View Point.
Trek for highest point of Bir Billing valley at the altitude of 3200 mts from sea level to Hanuman Garh for best photography shots of Bir Billing Valley. Hanuman garh is lord Hanumana open temple at the top of valley. Point at top provide view to parallel range of snow peaks of Dhauladhar range of Himalaya’s. One the other side is flat kangra valley and clouds down some time. Photographs need no editing as views are so clear and amazing shots. To reach top point trek is tough and need drive for 16 km drive one way and 6 hrs of trek round way.
Lake near Plachak.
Photography point near Plachak and Rajgundha lake needs 3 days and 2 nights stay in camping or guest house. Trek of 32 km in 3 days from Bir to back Bir. Lake is located in mesmerizing location away from hussle bussle of mountains and valley.
Winch Camp and Head Gear of Haulage trolley.
Winch camp is located and reached from Jogindernagar and Barot valley both ways. If you get permission from Punjab electricity department at Jogindernagar, one have chance to enjoy the haloage trolly which run two times a day. Trolly is work on the principle of pully and weight transfer. Elevation of train trolly is almost 75 degree till winch camp from Jogindernagar power house. You can start trek from winch camp to headgear which is 3 km leveled abandoned trolley route. Trek has wonderful views of valley and forest. There are so many photography points here as route is almost 100 years old and this part is not operational as so many small landslides, tree falls which was not repaired during the course of time. Headgear provide you the view of other side of mountain over Barot valley and route from here has two ways. One by following rail route till Barot and other via colonel betty guest house at upper Barot. There are houses on the way. Pictures of old traditional houses, trails, mountains, rail route, forest, pahari village and old mechanism of trolly. Trek is easy and best experience and can be recommended for all age groups.
Badagran Village.
Village of Badagran under Chota Bhangal region of Kangra valley and considered tribal. Badagran is last road head and many buses from Bir and Baijnath daily. Badagran is 70 km from Bir takes 2 to 3 hrs drive away.Photograpgy in these villages provide tradition aspect of Bir Billing. Few Indabitants of these tribal villages shifted to lower valley of Kangra as to Bir and Baijnath for job espects. Villagers live here grow vegetables and pulses from March to October and earn good amount of money for their livelihood. Farmiong here is organic and 4 to 5 months valley experience heavy snowfall. Badagran village has many photography points – Nahlota village, local houses as traditional way, old tailor stitching pahadi cap and coats at his shop, wooden houses, farms, suspension bridge, pictures of Raj gundha village on other side, Forest of Tosh, Rai, Oak, Brown Oak, Devdara and rhododendron.
Tacking options from Bada gran to Billing 18 km with one night outdoor camping at Raj gundha covering Channa and Hanuman garh, if good trekker. And other 4 days trek to Bada Bhangal village through Thamsar pass at 4800 mts from sea level open from June to October month.

Trek to water source is small hike along with stream from Camp Oak View, one have to trek in deep forest till the last edge of forest. So many wildlife and forest along the trek.

Trek for 30 min to reach the nest point near Camp Oak View, Bir Billing. Best picture point for travelers for valley and mountains on the back side. Trek is through oak forest and a pahadi village. Pictures at Camp Oak view also have great opportunity to photographers.

Series of Ghattu waterfall at Bir.
Ghattu waterfall located near Ashram of Shri Visudhanand sarswati ji. Trek start from Ashram and take 40 mins to reach there. There are another waterfall near that and provide amazing scope of pictures of waterfall and dense forest with narrow stream. Take a bath in waterfall. Avoid trekking to waterfall in monsoon as valley full of leaches between July to September.

Forest in Ghodnala village near Camp Oak View is best place for bird watching. If know birds then normally you can identify at least 50 species of birds in Bir. Forest is dense and views are open towards valley. Birds varieties different in all seasons.
