Triund trek and Paragliding at Bir Billing.

Itinerary 2 Nights and 3 Days for Triund and Paragliding.

Day 1:- Paragliding session and stay in Machaan Tent at Camp Oak View in Bir.

Arrive Bir and drive to Billing for Paragliding session, 15 to 20 min paragliding session, land at Bir and transfer to Camp Oak View. Evening visit to Sunset point.
Dinner and overnight stay in Machaan Tent at Camp Oak View in Bir Billing.

Day 2:- Drive Bir to Macleodganj (70 km / 2 hrs).

Start at 0800 hrs from Bir to Macleodganj to reach at 1000 hrs.

Arrive Macleodganj , Triund trek till Ilaka (10 km./5-6 hrs).Camping at Near Triund Ridge.

Arrive Bhagsu/Macleodganj and start trek. Trek to Triund with packed lunch, Triund trek passes through thick forests of deodar, rhododendron and oak. You will find many food joints on the way. Reach Triund and spend some time at Triund, later trek to nearby Camping location for overnight stay.
Dinner and Overnight stay in dome tents.

Triund is a ridge situated at an elevation of 2875 mt in the lap of Dhauladhar mountain range. It is very famous tourist spot in the western Himalayan range. To reach to this point one has to walk for 08 km from Mcleod Ganj town. Triund is also the gateway to reach and cross the beautiful and tough mountain pass called Indrahara Pass. Triund and above there are many big grasslands where one can see many shepherd grazing there herd of sheep and goats. From Triund one can hike up to Kunal Pathri temple as well which is located at an elevation of 3200 mts. To come back to Macleodganj either walk back by same way or can take the different route which is steep downhill.
Shepherds, “Gaddis”, who migrate each spring with their flock from the foothills of the Kangra valley to the rich grazing areas of Chamba and Lahaul regions of Himachal Pradesh, Gaddi people inhabit on the both valleys of the Dhauladhar region namely Chamba and Kangra valley.

Day 3: Trek from Camping to Bhagsu (10 km./3-4 hrs).

Morning post breakfast, we start our trek for the day with a 5 km. downhill walk along a ridge with fantastic views of the Dhauladhar range on our right and Dharamsala town and Kangra valley below, pass by Leta, a partially inhabited shepherd settlement. Spend some time at waterfall and later hike to Bhagsu and departure , Lunch (at your own and also you can opt for wash and change by direct payment option) and later free time to explore Macleodganj, Tibetan market, Dalalai Lama temple.

• Accommodation for 01 night at Triund in Dome tents and 01 night in Machaan Tent at Camp Oak View at Bir on twin/triple sharing basis.

• Paragliding session of 15 to 20 min from Billing to Bir on day 1.

The above price excludes the following services for Triund Trek and Paragliding in Bir:.

• Travel insurance covering medical evacuation, hospitalization, baggage insurance and trip cancellation.
• arrival and departure Transportation.
• Porter to pony to carry your personal trek luggage. ( You should pack for 01 night and leave all extra behind with us for both treks).
• Paragliding weight limit is 25-95 kg, if weight is between 95-115 kg the paragliding team charge INR 500/- extra and also decide it at the time of paragliding, depending upon fitness of person.
• Any meals other than specified in the program.
• Any en-route or personal expenses such as alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, tips & gratuities, laundry etc.
• Videography of Paragliding session. Personal equipment for trek like clothes, shoes, day packs, personal medical kit etc. However, light weight carry-mattresses with sleeping bags will be provided by us inside the tents during the trek.
• Tip to crew.
• Bathing facility at Triund. You can Bath at Hotel on Day 2.
• Any exigency expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to circumstances beyond our normal control. Such as airline delays, road blocks, vehicle malfunctions, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.

Important Note:-

• You need to be prepared for a cold night up at Triund.
• Up at Triund there is not electricity and water (plenty of drinking water but no water for bathing and toilet use). For toilet we try to put up dry pit toilet tents .
• We try to combine people in a group.
